Geschichte

Der DARC OV Emden wurde am 18.10.1947 durch G. Stoll und K. Tetzner gegründet. Seit dem Gründungstag wurden eine Veilzahl von Aktivitäten durchgeführt. Hier sind insbesondere die Aktivierung C31 ( Andorra ) und die Aktivität bei Ausserdienststellung des Feuerschiffs "Borkumriff" auf Seeposition zu erwähnen. Des weiteren wurden zum International Marconi Day und im Jahre 2000, zum einhundertsten Jahrestag des ersten amtlichen Funkdienstes, auf der Nordsseinsel Borkum am geschichtsträchtigen "Kleinen Leuchtturm" diverse Aktivitäten durchgeführt. Unter Galerie sind zu diesen Aktivitäten Bilder eingestellt. Diese Bilder wurden von den OM´s und YL´s des DARC OV Emden I06 zur Verfügung gestellt. Technik

Die Technik im Amateurfunk ist immer von vielen Veränderungen beeinflusst worden, während noch in den Anfangsjahren CW und SSB die Hauptbetriebsarten waren, haben heute mehr und mehr Computer Einzug in die Shacks der Funamamateure gehalten. In der Anfangszeit des Amateurfunks wurden ausschließlich Eigenbaugerätschaft oder Umbauten von kommerziellen Geräten genutzt. Nachdem der Transistor die Röhren abgelöst hat, wurden die Geräte kleiner und somit auch transportabler, so das die Geräte auch immer häufiger auf Fielddays oder auch in Kraftfahrzeugen eingesetzt wurden.Allerdings sind auch Trends zu bemerken, wo viele HAM sich auch wieder dem Selbstbau von Equipment verschrieben haben, hier zu erwähnen sind HF-QRP- Transceiver, HF-Endstufen, aber auch Transverter, Transceiver u.ä. für den UHF/UHF/SHF Bereich. Wie bei vielen Hobbys gibt es natürlich auch im Amateurfunk Nischenbereiche, mit denen sich einige wenige OM´s und YL´s auseinander setzen, wie z.B. ATV auf den höherfrequenten Bändern. Hier steht zu einem der Umbau von vorhandenem Equipment wie Sat-Receiver und LNB´s im Focus, um diese dann nach dem Umabu für die Betriebsart ATV nutzen zu können.

Antennen

"Eine gute Antenne ist der beste Hochfrequenzverstärker",.....das das tatsächlich so ist, wird jeder Funkamateur schon mal festgestellt haben. Wenn auf einem Fieldday Antennen aufgebaut werden, die zuhause aufgrund von Größe oder Antennenverboten nicht realisiert werden können, dann ist das immer ein Erlebnis. Signale von weit entfernten Stationen rund um den Globus sind mit Feldstärken zu empfangen und zu arbeiten, wovon man im heimischen Shack nur zu träumen wagt. Beipiele: Cubical Quad, Beam,

Betriebsarten

CW/A1A

Die Telegrafie ist die ursprünglichste aller Betriebsarten die man im Amateurfunk findet. Die Telegrafie basiert auf dem Morsecode von Samuel F.B. Morse. Aus Drahtresten, Blechabfällen und seiner Wanduhr baute er 1837 den ersten Morseapparat, den er am 4. September 1837 erstmals vorführte. Dieser kann noch heute im Deutschen Museum in München besichtigt werden. Nach fünfjähriger Experimentierphase konnte Morse seinen Apparat patentieren lassen. Das United States Patent Office erteilte ihm am 20. Juni 1840 die Urkunde.

SSB/J3E

Die Einseitenbandmodulation (SSB, engl.: Single-Sideband Modulation) ist ein spektrum- und energieeffizientes Modulationsverfahren zur Sprach- und Datenübermittlung auf Funkverbindungen, das heute insbesondere im Kurzwellenbereich für mobile Funkanlagen (Seefunk, Flugfunk auf Langstrecken, Militär, Amateurfunk) verwendet wird. Es wurde in den 30er Jahren von den Fernmeldeverwaltungen entwickelt und zunächst für die drahtgebundene Übertragung von Telefongesprächen über große Entfernungen, später auch für transkontinentale Funkstrecken eingesetzt. Im Bereich der Funkkommunikation wurde die vorher gebräuchliche Zweiseitenband-Amplitudenmodulation (ZSB-AM) von der Einseitenbandmodulation im Laufe der 1960er Jahre fast vollständig verdrängt.

Digitale Betriebsarten - Rtty, PSK31, MT63, Packet Radio, Pactor, Amtor

Funkfernschreiben (engl. Radio Teletype, RTTY) ist eine digitale Betriebsart, bei der die Kommunikation zwischen Fernschreibern über Funk durchgeführt wird. Im Zeitalter des Computers wird dieser mehr und mehr für diese Betriebsart eingesetzt. Betriebsarten wie Pactor und Amtor haben die die Möglichkeit fehlerkorrigierend eingesetzt zu werden, d.h. Rechtschreibfehler, sofern sie erkannt werden, können "zurückgeholt" und korrigiert werden. Bei Pactor ist zusätzlich die Möglichkeit der Datenübertragung gegeben. Hier können Dateien vom Computer drahtlos über Funk übermittelt werden, auch hier findet eine Korrektur statt, wenn Fehler bei der Übertragung erkannt werden. PSK31 wird im vorzugsweise im Kurzwellenbereich eingesetzt. Der Vorteil dieser Betriebsart ist die Schmalbandigkeit. Mit geringer Bandbreite des Signals können auf einer Frequenz mehrere Stationen gleichzeitig Funkbetrieb machen.

 

Bildübertragung - SSTV, ATV

Bei Bildübertragungsbetriebsarten unterscheidet man zum einen in Standbilder und zum anderen in bewegte Bilder, ähnlich wie man sie aus dem Fernseher kennt. Die Betriebsart SSTV überträgt Standbild in verschiedenen Geschwindikeiten und Auflösungen. Bei der analogen Betriebsart SSTV wird also quasi jedes Pixel eines abgespeicherten Bildes abgetastet, je nach Helligkeit in einen Ton zwischen 1500 Hz und 2300 Hz umgewandelt und in einem bestimmten Verfahren (bei Farb-SSTV beispielsweise „Martin-1“) wiedergegeben. Beim Empfänger läuft die Abtastung der vom Sender wiedergegebenen Töne zeitsynchron (1200 Hz-Taktsignal) zum Sender, also in selbiger Geschwindigkeit. Hier gibt es verschiedene Modi wie z.B. Martin-1, Robot oder Scottie.

Wie werde ich Funkamateur?

Um Funkamateur zu werden, bedarf es keiner besonderen Vorkenntnisse. Als Interessierter sollte man als erstes den Kontakt zu einem Funkamateur in seiner Nachbarschaft suchen, Dieser wird in der Regel gerne sein Hobby vorstellen oder man sucht nach dem ortsansässigen Ortsverband des DARC - Deutscher Amateur Radio Club. Hier finden in regelmäßigen Abständen Clubabende statt, auf denen Gäste und Newcomer immer gern gesehen sind. Hier werden dann die ersten Kontakte geknüpft. In einigen Ortsverbänden finden Lehrgänge statt, die zur Vorbereitung auf Lizenzprüfung hinzielen. Eine Lizenz ist für die Nutzung des Amateurfunk unerlässlich. Diese Lizenz wird von BNetzA - Bundesnetzagentur nach bestandener Prüfung mit einem personenbezogenen Rufzeichen vergeben.
